The unsealed trails at South Para, Myponga, Warren and Bundaleer reservoir reserves are suitable for family-friendly riding, with more adventure to be found at Warren Reservoir Reserve.
With a range of tracks on offer covering nearly 10km, you can explore on two wheels through a changing landscape of native bushland and plantation forests to reach stunning water views. The intermediate mountain bike trails are suitable for riders with a moderate level of skill and fitness.
The 3.3km loop on the south eastern side of the reservoir takes you across open plains, through forested areas and native vegetation. The unsealed trail is suitable for all ages to cycle.
An additional 3km loop through the western side of the reservoir reserve provides a more adventurous cycle for the thrill seekers looking for a few downhill sections.
The 4.9km of unsealed trails at Hope Valley are shared-use paths for both cyclists and walkers with some operational traffic also. Please be considerate of other trail users.
Two unsealed trails provide a great Australian bush experience with water views. The 5.5km West Warren Reservoir Reserve loop and the 8.8km North Warren Reservoir Reserve loop are graded as intermediate mountain bike trails. They are suitable for riders with a moderate level of skill and fitness.
The 4.6km loop trail takes you around the entire reservoir, including over the dam wall, so you can take in all aspects of the reservoir and the surrounding landscape. The unsealed path is suitable for all ages to cycle.
