The fish have really been biting at Warren Reservoir Reserve for the Kenny family.
The Gawler family, dad Paul and daughters Makayla, 9, and Dannielle, 12, have between them caught more than 80 fish on their regular visits to the picturesque reserve just 5km from Williamstown.
They have caught silver perch, redfin and European carp at the reservoir and are eager to land a Murray cod which have been released as part of the fish stocking program for Reservoirs SA.
On a recent expedition to Warren Reservoir, Dannielle even brought in a double-header of carp, giving some residential pelicans a decent feed.
Paul said he was looking forward to trying all the reservoir sites now open for fishing.
Fishing in reservoirs is now available at South Para and Myponga reservoirs, which opened for fishing on 7 December adding to the fishing experiences available at Warren, Bundaleer and Beetaloo reservoirs.
