Our regional reservoir reserves are providing great relief to South Australians as we rise to the COVID-19 challenge and seek out spaces to keep active and in touch with nature.

Over the Anzac Day weekend, 862 people enjoyed time spent at one of the state’s reservoir reserves taking a walk, run, ride, a paddle in a kayak and a spot of fishing as they continue to Enjoy. Explore. Preserve these great public spaces.

Runner at Myponga

At Myponga, where locals are increasingly working a walk or run through the reservoir reserve into their daily routines for health and wellbeing, a total 3348 people visited in April.
While we can continue to enjoy our reservoir reserves now while practicing good social distancing, we’re on track to deliver even more experiences and adventure, opening more reserves including the suburban reservoir reserves of Hope Valley later this year and Happy Valley in the near future.
