The devastation and heartbreak that has come from fires impacting South Australia this summer is felt by us all.
Our volunteer CFS heroes and emergency services have been working day and night to protect lives, homes and the landscapes we all cherish.
Reservoir reserves are closed on Total Fire Ban days to minimise the chance of visitor activity accidentally leading to fire start, and to prevent people being endangered should a fire start in these natural and rugged areas.
Please play your part and help us ease the load for our fire fighters, keep our communities safe, by observing reservoir reserve closures when the CFS declare Total Fire Ban days.
Working together gives us the best chance of ensuring everyone’s safety, protecting our state’s critical water infrastructure and preserving our wonderful reservoir reserves for all South Australians to enjoy.
